Persona Builder

Persona Builder

How does this persona builder work?

A buyer persona is a short profile of the customer you are actually trying to reach. Answer a handful of questions about your business, your best customers, and the problem they are solving, and the builder returns a persona covering demographics, motivations, objections, and the channels where that person is reachable.

Why do marketing personas matter?

Without one, targeting and messaging get written for everybody, which means they land with nobody. A persona gives you a specific person to write ads, pages, and social posts for, and that is usually the difference between content that converts and content that gets ignored.

How many personas should a business have?

Most small and mid-sized businesses need one to three. More than that usually means you are describing segments rather than people, and the extra detail stops changing any decision you actually make.

What should a persona include?

At minimum: who they are, what problem brings them to you, what would stop them from buying, where they spend time online, and the words they use to describe their problem. That last one feeds straight into your keyword and ad copy work.
